Queens, N.Y. - Today the Marist men's tennis team continued with singles play at the National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y. Four Red Foxes advanced in their respective back draw matches.

Nicolas Pisecky (Lausanne, Switzerland) also advanced defeating Joel Samaha, in three sets, 1-6, 6-1, 10-6.

Also advancing in the back draw for Marist was freshman Matt Himmelsbach (Longmeadow, Mass.). He defeated Kils from Boston College in three sets, 6-2, 5-7, 10-8.

The 18-team tournament will continue on Saturday evening with more singles play. The tournament field includes two SEC teams in Alabama and Mississippi, Louisville of the Big East and the entire Ivy League.
