SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Marist water polo team fell to Hartwick, 10-3, at the conclusion of the UCSD Invite yesterday.
With a goal from both junior Jessica Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.) and freshman Jocelyn McQuade, the Red Foxes were tied with Hartwick at the end of the first quarter. Junior Anna-Lena Hathaway (Pasadena, Calif.) would tally another goal in the second, but that was as close as Marist would get.
Sophomore goalie Skyler Henry (San Diego, Calif.) posted eight saves and two steals for the day.
The Red Foxes move on to the Bucknell Invite this weekend, Feb. 15-16. Marist faces off against George Washington at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
