SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The water polo team claimed its third win of the season, overtaking Cal State East Bay 14-6.

Juniors Jessica Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.), Alison Hamby (Sacramento, Calif.) and Anna-Lena Hathaway (Pasadena, Calif.), as well as senior Kathryn Knutson (Oakland, Calif.) and sophomore Brooke Else (Lansdale, Pa.) all contributed two goals each for the Red Foxes. Jessica Hamby and Hathaway also compiled three steals each. Sophomore Skyler Henry (San Diego, Calif.) posted eight saves for Marist, with one steal.

Of their 10 six-on-five opportunities, the Red Foxes tallied three goals. Marist was also able to defend seven shorthanded opportunities.

The Red Foxes move on to compete against Hartwick to close out the UCSD Invite.
