ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The Marist Women's tennis team fell to Towson, 7-0, Saturday afternoon in a neutral site match with the Tigers. The loss pushes the team to 0-4 in non-conference action this season.
Towson won all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point against the Red Foxes. The Tiger's freshman duo of Nicole Shakhnazarova and Lucy Williams won 8-2 at the No. 1 doubles spot against Karly Pang and Claire Schmitz.
The Red Foxes didn't fare much better in singles, as the team lost all six matches in straight sets.
Marist women's tennis will look to get on track and win their first duel match of the season as they take on Navy, Sunday in Annapolis, Md.
