POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Red-shirt junior quarterback
Mike White of the Marist football team earned Honorable Mention from STATS as Football Championship Subdivision Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
White accounted for 399 yards of offense (337, 58 rushing, four receiving) and three touchdowns (two rushing, one passing) in Marist's 38-17 triumph over Stetson on Saturday. He set a career high with 32 completions, which is the second-highest single-game total in program history.
White is one of the 10 players in the FCS to earn Honorable Mention for offense this week. The STATS FCS National Offensive Player of the Week is South Dakota's Chris Streveler.
On Sunday, White was named
Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Week. It was the third weekly honor of his career.
