BUFFALO, New York – The men's swimming and diving team completed their first day of MAAC Championships, finishing the day tied for second with 66 points.

The men set a new school record in both 200 medley relay and 800 free relay. The 200 medley squad of
Robert McDowell,
Edward Oser,
Michael Valceanu and Danny Knoll finished in second with a time of 1:30.18. The previous record was set in 2016 and also featured McDowell, Knoll and Oser.

The 800 relay team of Valceanu,
Murray Coueslant,
Evan Nilsson and
Miguel Madeira had a second place finish with a time of 6:37.23. They broke the previous record which was set in 2015 by almost three seconds.
