POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – In the final week of Metro Atlantic Athletic Weekly awards, sophomore Samantha Mehalick and freshman Kelly George pick up Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
 
Mehalick had a career game against Siena, scoring a career high eight goals to tie a single game record. During the game, Mehalick scored her 100^th career goal and broke the single season record with her 60^th goal of the season. The sophomore is currently ranked tenth in the nation in goals per game with 3.75.
 
George continues to provide a boost off the bench, scoring two goals and dishing out a career high five assists. The freshman has had three or more assists in three of the last four games.
 
Marist has done well picking up MAAC Player of the Week awards this season. The following players have earned recognition.

The Red Foxes host the MAAC tournament this week from May 3^rd to the 5^th. Marist plays Canisius for its semifinal game at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
