POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football program placed a school record 57 student-athletes on the Pioneer Football League (PFL) Academic Honor Roll, which was released on Friday.
This marks the third consecutive season the program has broken its previous record high for honorees. For the 2017 season, 54 Red Foxes named to the Honor Roll, as compared to 52 for the 2016 campaign.
The PFL Academic Honor Roll was established in 2001 by the league's athletic directors and coaches as a way to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules.
Below is a listing of the 57 Red Foxes who were honored, with their majors. Minors are listed in brackets where applicable.
