PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - The Marist water polo team will compete in the Bruno Invitational tomorrow, hosted by the Brown University Bears at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. The Red Foxes will play two matches on Saturday, first with Brown and later with Bucknell. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

- Marist competed in the Rainbow Invite hosted by the University of Hawaii on the weekend of Jan. 19.
- Though the weekend started off with a loss to No. 5 Hawaii, the Red Foxes were successful with an upset of No. 19 San Diego State and a victory over Sonoma State.
- Justine Castro led the team with five goals over the three games, along with a steal and two field blocks.
- Lauren Smith contributed four goals and three steals, and Susan Cantoni tallied three goals, a steal and two field blocks.
- In goal, Carsen Horvatich made 12 saves and four steals over the three games to earn the two wins.
- Brown enters their first matches of the season at this tournament, facing off with No. 16 Wagner at 5:30 p.m. The Bears received votes in the CWPA national poll. Last season, Brown went 16-18 and lost to Bucknell in the fifth place match of the CWPA Championship.
- Like Brown, Bucknell enters their first tournament of the season at the Bruno Invitational. They have received votes in this season's renditions of the CWPA national poll. Last Season, the Bison went 16-18 and defeated Brown in the fifth place match of the CWPA Championship.
The Red Foxes will travel to La Jolla, California for the Triton Invitational hosted by University of California San Diego. The team will face UC Davis in the first round of the tournament, and play four total matches throughout the weekend.
