ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN- The Marist Water Polo team will travel to the University of Michigan to take part in the Wolverine Invitational. Over the weekend of March 2 and 3, the Red Foxes will face off with #15 Long Beach State, #14 UC San Diego, #6 Pacific and #13 Fresno State for their toughest round of opponents yet.

- Marist vs. Long Beach State - 11:30 a.m.
- Marist vs. University of California, San Diego - 6:00 p.m.
SUNDAY, MARCH 3
- Marist vs. University of the Pacific - 10:00 a.m.
- Marist vs. Fresno State - 1:30 p.m.
Marist hosted the Red Fox Invitational on Feb. 23, and went 2-1 with a near-upset of #14 Princeton.
- Marist defeated George Washington 11-4, scoring seven times in the second half while holding the Colonials to one goal.
- Marist nearly upset Princeton with a hat-trick from Myriam Lizotte, but fell short in the final minutes to lose 10-9.
- Marist topped Mercyhurst 15-6, led by Jocelyn Castro with four goals and three assists.
- #15 Long Beach State is 4-8 overall and on a two-game win streak. They most recently defeated #23 California State Northridge and #19 San Jose State at the UCI tournament.
- #14 UC San Diego is 5-9 overall. They are coming off a two-game loss streak, most recently earning a win over #13 San Jose State. The Red Foxes were previously defeated by the Tritons 12-7 at their home tournament on Feb. 10, and are looking forward to the rematch.
- #6 Pacific is 4-5 overall. The Tigers are 2-2 in their last four games, with wins over #8 UC Irvine and #7 Michigan.
- #13 Fresno State is 4-8, but have won their last three games over Fresno Pacific, California Lutheran and Toronto with an average scoring-margin of 14 points.
The Red Foxes will travel to Virginia for a doubleheader on Saturday, March 9
th to face La Salle and Virginia Military Institute in the first MAAC games of the season.
