POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist men's lacrosse alumni
John Vigh '17 was selected by the New York Lizards in the Major League Lacrosse supplemental draft on March 20. Vigh was selected 22
nd overall in the fourth round.

The Red Foxes have been successful as of late with players being selected in the supplemental draft. Most recently,
Brian Corrigan '18,
J.D. Recor '17 and Mike Begley '15 were selected in the supplemental draft back in October 2018. Corrigan was selected by the Lizards while Begley and Recor were selected by the Ohio Machines. Joseph Radin '16 was selected by the New York Lizards in 2016 and Nick Armstrong '11 was added to the Denver Outlaw's roster in 2012. Beagley was picked up by the Boston Cannons and played for them in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, making him the first Marist Alumni to make a final MLL 40-man roster.

Vigh was a standout midfielder for Marist, playing in 55 games throughout his career. He finished his career with 36 goals and 16 assists. During his junior campaign, Vigh was named to the All-MAAC Second team. Vigh was also a member of the 2015 MAAC Championship team.

The New York Lizards finished 8-6 in 2018. They lost in the semifinals to the Dallas Rattlers 15-12.
