POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Despite a career game from
Jake MacGregor in the pipes, Marist fell to Bucknell 10-7 at Tenney Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. MacGregor finished with 18 saves but the Red Foxes could not find an answer to a tough Bison defense. Marist falls to 4-5 overall.

- Bucknell raced out to an early lead, scoring the first two goals in the first five minutes of action. The Bison's transitional defense limited offensive opportunities for Marist, forcing seven turnovers and limiting the Red Foxes to just five shots.
- Hunter Embury opened up the second quarter with back to back goals to tie the game up. Shortly after tying it up, Bucknell scored to reclaim the lead. Both teams traded goals the rest of the way with Bucknell scoring with less than two minutes left to take a 5-4 lead.
- Michael smith scored his first goal of the game to tie the game at 5-5. Marist won the following face-off and quickly moved the ball. Jamison Embury fed Jake Weinman the ball for Marist to take its first lead of the game with 12:14 left in the third quarter. Bucknell would score three goals over the course of three minutes to take an 8-6 lead into the final frame.
- Both teams struggle to find an offensive rhythm in the fourth quarter with Bucknell tallying six turnovers and Marist with five. Bucknell score two goals with 4:13 left in the game to ice it.
Marist will host Siena for a big conference showdown on April 6 at 6 pm.
