PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - Marist water polo finished the regular season at Brown today falling 6-4. The Red Foxes finished with an overall record of 21-15, and a MAAC record of 12-2.

It was a low scoring affair, with the game tied at 2-2 at halftime. Both teams were shut-out in at least one period.
- Anais Mathes tallied a goal and a drawn exclusion.
- Justine Castro recorded a goal and an assist.
- Myriam Lizotte finished with a goal, an assist and two steals.
- Katherine Tijerina led the team in points with a goal and two assists, as well as two steals.
- Carsen Horvatich made four saves for a save percentage of 66.7.
- Marina Hyham took over at the half, and blocked six shots for a save percentage of 60.0 while grabbing a steal.
- Marist took 27 shots but were held to 14.8 percent shooting.
- Brown took 23 shots, and scored on 26.1 percent of attempts.
Having ended the regular season with this single game for the weekend, the Red Foxes head into the MAAC Championships on April 27-28. Hosted in McCann Natatorium, #2 seed Marist is set to face off with #3 Iona on Saturday at 2 p.m. The winners will move on to play the winners of #1 Wagner vs. #4 Virginia Military Institute on Sunday at 2 p.m.
