POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team's senior class of
Megan Beiermeister,
Brandi Coon,
Madison Lee,
Kallen Leeseberg,
Casey Page, and
Brooke Peterson will be honored prior to the Red Foxes' doubleheader against Rider on Sunday at noon.

This senior class started at Marist in 2016, and helped the Red Foxes win a program-record 45 games and a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship. The following year, Marist won 37 games, the second-highest total in program history. As a whole, this senior class has won 135 games, and is just two wins shy of tying the classes of 2017 and 2018 for the highest cumulative win total in program history.

Megan Beiermeister
- 42 career wins – sixth most in program history, second most in the 11-year tenure of head coach Joe Ausanio.
- Also ranks in the top 10 in program history in ERA (sixth), appearances (seventh), strikeouts (10th), and innings pitched (10th).
- 2016 MAAC All-Rookie Team selection, two-time MAAC Pitcher of the Week, two-time MAAC All-Academic team selection.
- Won first 12 career decisions.

Brandi Coon
- Ranks in the top 10 in program history in stolen bases (tied for sixth), triples (seventh), games played (ninth).
- Named Second Team All-MAAC and Second Team NFCA All-Region in 2017.
- Led the MAAC with a .443 batting average in conference games in 2017.
- Named CoSIDA Academic All-District and to the MAAC All-Academic Team each of the last two seasons.

Madison Lee
- Has set career highs for games played and games started this season.
- Set career highs with five home runs and 23 RBIs in 2017. Hit four home runs in a four-game stretch between May 3-7.
- Has played in 132 career games, with six home runs and 45 RBIs.

Kallen Leeseberg
- Ranks in the top in program history in strikeouts (ninth) and appearances (ninth).
- Currently ranks 33rd in the NCAA in fewest hits allowed per seven innings.
- Two-time selection to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

Casey Page
- Ranks fourth in program history in stolen bases.
- Named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team and was named MAAC Rookie of the Week once in 2016.
- Two-year selection to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

Brooke Peterson
- Has 10 career wins.
- Has pitched 160 career innings in 55 appearances (24 starts) with 68 strikeouts.
- Two-time selection to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

- Entering this weekend, Marist is 26-19 overall. The Red Foxes are tied with Monmouth for first place in the MAAC at 11-3.
- Rider is in 10th place at 3-9 in the conference and 7-37 overall.
- Last season, the teams split a doubleheader played at Rider on the final day of the regular season.
