EDISON, New Jersey – Marist women's lacrosse Kelly George was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. George is the second Red Fox to earn the honor this season.

George had a huge game against Canisius, scoring a career high 11 points off five goals and a career high six assists. The eleven points are the most tallied in a single game by a MAAC player and the second most by any player in the NCAA. Against Fairfield, George had another multi point game, scoring two goals and two assists. She scored the ninth goal of the game to put Marist within one pint of Fairfield at the end of the second half. George is second on the team in points with 40 and is fourth in the conference in assists with 1.46 per game.

Marist is back on the road at Niagara this Wednesday at 3 PM.
