NIAGARA FALLS, NY- The Marist women's lacrosse team was defeated 14-5 by Niagara on Wednesday afternoon.
Jesse Manger collected two goals herself, while
Kathryn Staker,
Caitlin McNaboe, and
Anne Shine each notched a goal for the Red Foxes.
With this result, Marist fell to 3-13 overall and 2-5 in MAAC play. Niagara improved to 7-9 overall and 5-2 in MAAC play.

- The Purple Eagles opened the scoring with two goals 90 seconds into the first frame.
- Niagara added another tally at 10:26 to lead 3-0.
- Megan Morris had eight saves with a .727 save percentage after one quarter of play.

- Niagara added another tally at 9:51 to lead 10-3.
- Anne Shine answered for Marist at 7:09, scoring her 25th of the season.
- The Purple Eagles added two more goals before Jesse Manger scored her second of the day for the Red Foxes with 45 seconds left in the quarter.
- Niagara led 12-5 heading into the final frame.
