POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist women's lacrosse senior
Hailey Wagner has been named to the IWLCA Northeast Region Second Team. Wagner was the only MAAC player selected to an IWLCAÂ Regional Team.

Wagner's senior campaign was not only her best, but one of the best for a women's lacrosse Red Fox. She broke the NCAA single season draw control record with 224 draw controls while averaging a nation leading 12.44 draw controls per game. Her 23 draw controls against Niagara this season were the most this season and one off of tying the most in a NCAA game. Wagner was named to the All-MAAC First Team and MAAC All-Tournament team.

The senior captain has had a remarkable career at Marist. Wagner ranks sixth in career points (162), sixth in career assists (60) and eighth in career goals (102). She was named the Female Marist sportsperson of the year. Off the field, Wagner excelled in the classroom. A three time MAAC All-Academic recipient, Wagner earned the President's Academic Achievement Award and was named to the CoSIDA All-District Team in 2019.
