POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist softball team is off to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Razorback Invitational. The Red Foxes will play five games over three days against Boston University, South Dakota State, Montana, and #23 Arkansas.

Sunday, Feb. 23

• Game 5 – Marist vs. #23 Arkansas – 12:45 p.m

Scouting Report

• Marist freshman Kiley Myers is the reigning Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie & Pitcher of the Week. Myers threw a total of seven and two-thirds innings during the trip allowing five hits and zero runs with three strikeouts and a save. This included a four-hit shutout against Green Bay.
• Marist junior shortstop Caroline Baratta had seven hits in 16 at bats (.438) with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs as the Red Foxes went 3-1 at last week's Bruin Challenge.
• #23 Arkansas has started its season at 7-1. The Razorbacks enter the tournament on a six-game winning streak. They have four hitters with averages over .400, and Autumn Storms is 4-0 with a 0.46 ERA in the circle.
• Boston University has started its season 9-1, and enters the tournament coming off a 2-0 shutout of Virginia at the Winthrop Classic. Caitlin Coker comes in hitting .467 (14-for-30), Aliyah Huerta-Leipner is hitting .400 with three homers and 12 RBIs in 30 at-bats, and Ali DuBois has allowed just two earned runs in 41.2 innings (0.34 ERA).
• South Dakota State has started its season 4-5 with their last game being a 6-1 win against Louisiana during the Scrap Yard College Softball Classic.  Cylie Halvorson is hitting a team-best .400.
• Montana is 5-5, and the Grizzlies are coming off a 4-3, 8-inning, win against Weber State at the Marucci Desert Classic. Cami Sellers is hitting a team-beast .370, and Maygen McGrath has three home runs.

Up Next

Marist will play five games over three days in the UNCW Invitational in Wilmington, North Carolina from Feb. 28 through March 1. The Red Foxes will face Toledo twice, Robert Morris twice, and host UNC Wilmington once.
