POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - #24 Marist water polo hosts the
Courtney Fisher Invite on Saturday, February 22 for their first home games of the season. Held at the McCann Natatorium, the Red Foxes will play reigning MAAC Champions #18 Wagner and new conference rival LIU to open MAAC play.
Prior to the matchup with the Sharks, the senior Red Foxes will be honored in a Senior Day ceremony for their hard work and dedication to the program.

- The Red Foxes swept Villanova and Santa Clara on day two of the Triton Invitational, winning over the Wildcats and Broncos by scores of 15-8 and 10-7 respectively.
- Sophomore Kathryn McCullough scored a hat trick in the Red Foxes' 15-8 win over Villanova, only missing one shot.
- Viktoria Orlova had another splendid performance against Villanova, scoring two goals with an assist and a steal. The sophomore added two goals and two steals against Santa Clara.
- Over two games, goalkeeper Marina Hyham tallied 16Â saves, a steal and a .516Â save percentage.Â
- #18 Wagner stands at 9-5, overcoming a 2-4 start by winning seven of their last eight games. Sophomore Sofia Diaz Alvarez currently leads the Seahawks with 40 goals and 30 assists.
- LIU stands at 3-8 on the season after going 1-2 at the Princeton Invitational. Their last win came in overtime against George Washington by a score of 17-16.
- The Red Foxes are graduating a talented group of seniors has a career record of 65-57 and has qualified for the MAAC Championship finals three times.
- Carsen Horvatich has guarded the goal well throughout her career, and was named the First Team All-MAAC goalkeeper as a junior. She has 355 saves in her time as a Red Fox, and is the reigning MAAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year.
- Reigning MAAC Preseason Co-Player of the Year Anais Mathes has been one of Marist's top scorers for the past couple yeats, and has compiled 111 goals, 60 assists, 52 steals and a field block in her career.
- Justine Castro has been one of the most well-rounded players on the team in her tenure, with 100 goals, 72 assists, 98 steals and 12 field blocks. She was Second Team All-MAAC as a sophomore.
- In her four years with Marist, Carolyn Gauvin has been a strong contributor as well with 71 goals, 15 assists, 31 steals and four field blocks.
- Lexi Puhl has helped the Red Foxes compete at an elite level with 39 goals, 27 assists and 54 steals throughout her career.
- Bree Marmion has provided consistent depth on offense and defense with 14 goals, 36 assists and 22 steals.
Marist will travel to Massachusetts for the Harvard Invite on Saturday March 7. They are set to compete against Ivy League foes Harvard and Brown.
