POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team will head to Lubbock, Texas to compete in five games in the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic. The Red Foxes will play six games in three days against Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson and Texas Tech.

- Two Red Foxes are hitting over .300 this season. Senior catcher/infielder is hitting .348 (8-for-23). Junior shortstop Caroline Baratta has 16 hits in 52 at bats (.308) with three doubles, a triple, and nine RBIs for the Red Foxes this season.
- Sophomore catcher Kaley Coltrain leads the team with three home runs this season, and red-shirt junior infielder Claire Oberdorf is right behind with two.
- Junior pitcher Nicole Teague leads Marist with a 2.05 ERA this season. Sophomore Calista Phippen has a team-best 34 strikeouts, and freshman Meghan Haff has 25.
- Delaware State is 1-15 overall on the season. Alaena Selden (.326) and Hannah Crumlish (.310) are the team's leading hitters.
- Farleigh Dickinson is 3-7 overall on the season. Malori Bell is 1-1 with a 3.13 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 15.2 innings pitched, while Abby England has 28 strikeouts in 21 innings with a 1-2 record and 3.33 ERA. Riley De Laval (.412) is the teams leading hitter.
- Texas Tech is 11-9 overall on the season, and is receiving votes in the NFCA Top 25 poll. Erin Edmoundson is 6-3 with a 1.28 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 60.1 innings pitched. Breanna Russell and Zoe Jones each have four homers and 15 RBIs.
- Marist will play five games over three day in the Jacksonville Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida from March 13 through March 15.
- The Red Foxes will face Jacksonville twice, James Madison twice, and Eastern Kentucky once.
