BUFFALO, New York – The Marist women's swimming & diving team fell to MAAC opponent Canisius, 164.5-135.5, on Friday in its season opener.
 

Highlights

• Nellie Thompson captured the 100 free, as the Red Foxes took the top three spots in the event.
• Maddie Healey won the 500 free. The Red Foxes took the top two spots here, as Leigh-Anne Zanella placed second. Zanella won the 200 fly.
• Sophia Swanson was able to capture the 100-yard butterfly while also being a part of the second-place 400 freestyle relay team.
• Genevieve O'Neil won the 1,000 free.
• In addition, Madison Sweeney had a strong outing winning the 3-meter & coming in second in the 1-meter diving event.
