POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's lacrosse team will be hosting Army for its home opener at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th at Tenney Stadium.

• The Red Foxes had a solid first half against UMass Lowell, leading the game 6-3, but UMass battled back in the second half in a hard-fought game. UMass Lowell would pull ahead in the final moments to emerge with the 11-10 win.
• With 22 seconds left in the game, Kerri Gutenberger scored on a free-position shot to tie the game at 10-10, but with only 2 seconds left in the game, UMass scored to end the game in defeat for Marist.
• Kerri Gutenberger led the Red Foxes in scoring with five goals.
• Delaney Hayes, Alexandra Di Chiara, Kelly Trotta, Melissa Bucher, Olivia Arntsen also each grabbed a goal in the game.

• Army West Point is currently 2-2 this season. With recent loses from both Temple and Rutgers. 
• The Black Knights won against MAAC foe, Niagara on Feb 24th with a final score of 15-9.
• Against Army, the Red Foxes are 1-3 overall, with their last meeting ending in a 16-4 defeat.

• The Red Foxes will continue on at home as they host Long Island University at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd.
