Box Score Poughkeepsie, New York- The Marist Women's Lacrosse team dropped their second game of the season in a Hudson River Valley showdown against Army West Point, 19-9, Saturday afternoon.

- To open the game, a quick foul at 14:21 led to a free-position that gave the Knights a 1-0 lead.
- The Black Knights quickly added another tally at 13:47 to give Army a 2-0 lead and then scored again at the 12:35 mark to pull ahead 3-0
- At 8:03, Kerri Guttenberger scored the first goal for the Red Foxes cutting into the early deficit.
- Hannah Spease cut the Army lead down to one goal (3-2) with an assist from Olivia Arntsen with 4:23 on the clock in the first.
- To wrap up the first quarter, Kerri Guttenberger spun past the Army defense to notch another goal and tie the game 3-3.
- Army opened the 2Q with a goal at 11:46 to take the lead again and make it 4-3.
- With another free-position situation at 9:46, the Knights scored again to extend the lead to 5-3.
- At 8:46 remaining in the half, Delaney Hayes scored to cut the lead back down to a 5-4 Army lead.
- Army responded with a goal at 7:50 to make it 6-4 and as the clock dialed down to the last two minutes of the half, the Knights scored again to extend the lead to 7-4. Â
-  With 9 seconds remaining in the half, Army scored to make the lead 8-4 heading into the half.

- At the beginning of the 2nd half, Army scored at the 14:20 mark making it 9-4 and again at 13:39 to bring the game to 10-4.
- Olivia Arntsen scored at 12:08 to bring the Red Foxes to 10-5 but less than a minute later the Knights responded with a goal at 11:08 making it 11-5.
- With 8:49 remaining, Army scored to extend the lead to 12-5.The Red Foxes responded with a fast-paced offense to allow Melissa Bucher to score and make it 12-6 at 8:07.
- Marist's offense continued with another goal by Hannah Spease with 6:48 on the clock.
- Army responded at 5:56 with a goal to make it 13-7 and again at 3:17 and then at 2:46 to extend it to make it 15-7.
- The Knights offense continued with a goal at 1:44 and then another with .15 seconds to extend the lead to 17-7 at the end of the 3Q.
- Â To open the fourth, Melissa Boucher scored her second goal of the game to make the score 17-8. Army would tack on two goals in response to maintain their distance.
- Maddie Schrader scored with :20 seconds remaining to conclude the scoring in the contest.

- Army West Point's leading scorers were Julia Gorajek with five goals and six points, followed by Jolie Riedell with five goals and five points.Â
- Kerri Guttenberger had two goals and three assists.
- Olivia Arntsen had two goals and two assists.
- Hannah Spease had two goals followed by one goal from Maddie Schrader. Â
