POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - Marist water polo will face two opponents this weekend, with a single game on Saturday, March 19 against Siena and one game on Sunday, March 20 against St. Francis-Brooklyn.
Schedule change: Sunday's game against LIU (originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m. has been postponed.
- Saturday, March 19 – vs. Siena @ 3 p.m.
- Sunday, March 20 – vs. St. Francis-Brooklyn @ 5 p.m.
- Marist played four games at the ASU Invite this past weekend and left with a 2-2 record. The Red Foxes defeated Azusa Pacific and Ottawa. They fell to Arizona State and Harvard.
- Madeline Schultz was the top scorer for the Red Foxes, scoring seven in total. Schultz was then named MAAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth week in a row and fifth time this season.
- For the weekend, Marina Hyham collected 30 saves against the Red Foxes four opponents. In Marist's first game against ASU, Hyham notched 13 saves. After four games, Hyham save percentage was .392.
- The Saints are currently 3-10 overall and are coming off a 0-4 weekend at the Claremont Convergence. They were defeated by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Azusa Pacific, Whittier, and Santa Clara.
- The Terriers currently are 4-9 overall and are 0-1 in conference play. Its conference loss came from Wagner on Feb. 26.
- The two teams previously met up on Feb. 26, and Marist secured the victory by a score of 21-8.
- The Red Foxes travel to New Rochelle, New York on Saturday, March 26 against Iona at 9 a.m, and then a quick drive to Wagner to compete at 4 p.m.
