Box Score 1 LEXINGTON CITY, Virginia -Â The Marist water polo team took advantage of its Saturday road trip to Virginia, defeating both VMI and St. Francis-Brooklyn.
The Red Foxes took down VMI, 14-8, in their first game of the day. In its second game, Marist controlled St.Francis-Brooklyn, 23-6.Â
- Marist scored three goals in each of the first two periods, taking a 6-3 lead into halftime.
- In the third quarter, the Red Foxes came out hot, scoring five goals while holding the Keydets to one goal.
- Despite being outscored 4-3 in the fourth quarter, Marist won comfortably, 14-8.
- The win gave the Red Foxes their seventh straight victory.
- Myriam Lizotte, Madeline Schultz, and Shinae Carrington each scored two goals to lead Marist.
