POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Summer camp is officially underway for the Marist football program.
 
The Red Foxes reported for camp this past Saturday and Sunday. Testing took place Sunday afternoon and evening, as well as Monday morning. After a delay due to excessive heat, the Red Foxes' first practice took place Monday at 7 p.m. at Tenney Stadium, which was interrupted at approximately 8:15 due to lightning in the area. The team returned to practice on Tuesday morning.
 

Preseason Facts

• The Red Foxes have 12 returning starters (seven on defense, five on offense).
• Marist had three Preseason All-PFL selections: graduate linebacker Mike Arrington, fifth-year safety Clayborne Fields III, and graduate safety Teddy Wright.
• Marist was picked sixth in the PFL Preseason Poll.
• Last season, Marist went 5-5 overall and 5-3 in PFL play.
• Head coach Jim Parady is in his 31^st year, and is the longest tenured head coach in Division I football.
