POUGHKEEPSIE, New York -  Marist water polo competes in the Rainbow Invite this weekend. The invite starts Saturday, Jan. 14 and concludes Sunday, Jan. 15.

The University of Hawaii hosts the invite in Manoa, Hawaii.

• Marist finished the 2022 season 25-14. The Red Foxes finished the season ranked 25th in the nation.
• The Red Foxes finished 11-4 in conference play.
• The Red Foxes finished the season on a defeat to LIU in the MAAC tournament.
• Graduate student Viktoria Orlova scored 62 goals last season.
• Senior Center India Alter had 42 ejections drawn last season, a team high.
• Senior Utility Shinae Carrington tallied 41 steals in 2022 and finished with a plus/minus of 44.

  

2023 Rankings

• Marist enters the preseason ranked 25th. The Collegiate Water Polo Association determined the rankings, giving the Red Foxes four points.
• The Red Foxes finished the 2022 season ranked 25th also.
• The MAAC ranked Marist third in the preseason polls for the upcoming season.
