Water Polo Sweeps Day One of Hoosier Invite

Red Foxes Score 24 Total Goals

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana- The women's water polo team cruised through the first day of the Hoosier Invite, winning both matches. The Red Foxes defeated McKendree University and Villanova University Saturday.

  • The Red Foxes won a thriller 9-6 over the Villanova Wildcats.
  • Marist left Villanova scoreless in the second half.
  • Inés Sánchez recorded nine saves in the victory.
  • Utility Kaylee Brard tallied three goals.
  • Attacker Rachel Dean and utility Viktoria Orlova scored two goals in the win.
