POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist baseball announced its date for the 2024 First Pitch Dinner. The dinner gives the community an opportunity to celebrate with the Red Foxes before the start of the 2024 season.

"This is going to be a major moment for the program," said head coach Lance Ratchford. "A great new annual event to add to our championship tradition here at Marist. We've been talking about doing this for a while and I'm glad it's all coming together."

This event is a great opportunity to connect our current players, families, and alumni. One of my goals when I returned to Marist as head coach was to bring back and surround our current players with the championship alumni from the past."

"It will be a fun night of great food, laughs, and stories as we head into the 2024 season!"

The First Pitch Dinner is set for Jan. 27 and is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m and conclude at 8:30 p.m. The dinner will be hosted in the McCann Recreation Center. The Red Foxes invite all alumni, family, and friends to meet the 2024 baseball squad.

Tickets start at 60 dollars which includes an Italian-style buffet dinner and soft drinks. Tickets for children 12 and under will be priced at 30 dollars.

All proceeds from the event will support the Marist baseball team.
