TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Five Marist softball players were named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region on Thursday. This is a program record for most All-Region honorees.

Kiley Myers,
Maddie Pleasants, and
Peyton Pusey were named Second Team All-Region, and
Sam Freeland was named Third Team All-Region.

- MAAC Rookie of the Year, First Team All-MAAC, MAAC All-Rookie Team, MAAC All-Championship Team
- Leads MAAC with 49 RBIs, leads team with .384 batting average.
- Is 22nd in the NCAA in doubles per game and 29th in toughest to strike out.

- Most Outstanding Player at MAAC Championship, Second team All-MAAC
- Has won her last six decisions, and went 3-0 in the MAAC Championship.
- Went 8-1 with a 1.60 ERA in conference games this season.

- Has 34 RBIs in her last 28 games.
- Led MAAC with eight home runs in conference play.

- Has scored a team-high 46 runs (tied for fourth-highest single-season total in program history).
- Has 21 stolen bases in 22 attempts.

- Is 26-for-27 on stolen base attempts. Has the fourth-highest single-season stolen base total in program history and is second in the MAAC.
- Has reached base safely in 15 straight games.

The Marist softball team opens NCAA Regional play on Friday, when the Red Foxes face #3 Florida State at 4 p.m. The game will be shown on ESPN+.
