POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team is set for its second week of tournament action.

The Red Foxes will play five games between Friday and Sunday at the Red & Black Classic in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. The tournament is hosted by Gardner-Webb.

- Friday, Feb. 23: Lindenwood (2-8), 11 a.m.
- Friday, Feb. 23: Hampton (3-5), 1 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 24: Hampton (3-5), 1 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 24: Gardner-Webb (7-3), 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 25: Gardner-Webb (7-3), 10 a.m.

NOTE: Sunday's Gardner-Webb game at 10 a.m. replaces the originally scheduled game of Lindenwood at 9:30 a.m.

- Marist opened its season with a 2-3 record at the Abilene Christian Tournament.
- The Red Foxes went 2-0 on the second day of the tournament.
- Marist defeated Houston Christian, 6-3, with a six-run first inning.
- Marist earned a 4-3 comeback win over Abilene Christian. The Red Foxes trailed 3-0 entering the sixth inning.

- Marist swept last week's MAAC awards.
- Kiley Myers was MAAC Pitcher of the Week, Haley Ahr was MAAC Player of the Week, and Anna Sidlowski was MAAC Rookie of the Week.
- It was Myers' seventh MAAC Pitcher of the Week award, and Ahr's fourth MAAC Player of the Week honor. This was Sidlowski's first week of collegiate action.

- Marist will travel to Norfolk, Virginia for the Norfolk State Tournament.
- The Red Foxes will play a single game on Friday, March 1, followed by two apiece on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
