NEW YORK, New York - The Marist women's track & field team competed on day two of the MAAC Indoor Championships on Sunday evening at The Armory. The Red Foxes finished seventh as a team with 28.5 points.
Freshman Kayla Hawkins ran a new personal record time of 2:17.49 in the 800-meter run, securing a third-place finish to bring home a bronze medal for the Red Foxes.
Also placing third, the 4x800Â relay team of Sierra Fisher, Jackie Caron, Grace Fletcher, and Parker O'Brien finished in 9:26.16.Â
O'Brien ran a sub-five minute mile to finish fifth overall, setting a new personal record time of 4:59.48.
The 4x400Â relay consisting of Stephania Granados, Cailin Horton, Julia Kropo, and Julie Cristinzio claimed fifth place with a time of 4:04.84.
