POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team will play five games in the state of Virginia this weekend as the Red Foxes take part in the Hampton/Norfolk State Classic.

Marist will play a total of three games at Hampton on Friday and Saturday, followed by two at Norfolk State on Sunday.

- Saturday, March 2: vs. Central Connecticut State (6-0), 2:30 p.m.

- The Red Foxes (6-4) have won four straight, and are coming off a 4-1 weekend at the Red & Black Classic last weekend.
- Peyton Pusey was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week last week after scoring nine runs in last week's five games while hitting safely in all of them. She leads the MAAC with 13 runs scored, and is second with seven stolen bases.
- Head coach Joe Ausanio earned his 400th career victory on Feb. 24 with a 3-0 triumph over Gardner-Webb.
- Alyssa Grupp leads the Red Foxes with a .400 batting average.
- Haley Ahr has a team-best 10 runs batted in, which is tied for second in the MAAC.
- Kiley Myers leads the MAAC with 31 strikeouts.
- Anna Sidlowski is second in the MAAC with three victories.

Isabella Manory will play against her twin sister, Adriana.

- Marist will play 11 games on its Spring Break trip, which starts next week.
- The Red Foxes will play five games in Jacksonville's Spring Break Challenge, followed by a doubleheader at Bethune-Cookman, and then four games in California at the Saint Mary's Round Robin.
