POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team (31-14, 13-4) plays its final home series of the regular season this weekend against Canisius (18-17, 13-7).

The Red Foxes and Golden Griffins will play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday. First pitch on both days is set for noon.

Prior to Sunday's game, Marist will celebrate Senior Day and honor
Alyssa Grupp and
Sophia Recrosio. This ceremony is set for 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

- Marist has not dropped a MAAC series this season, with five wins (Quinnipiac, 3-0; Saint Peter's, 3-0; Niagara, 2-1; Mount St. Mary's, 2-1; Iona, 2-1) and one tie (Siena, 1-1).
- Marist is coming off a series sweep of Saint Peter's. The Red Foxes won by scores of 8-0 (five innings), 12-8, and 14-4 (six innings).
- Miah McDonald, who set the program's single-season records for home runs and runs batted in against Saint Peter's on back-to-back days, is tied for the national lead in triples with seven.
- Through April 24, McDonald also ranks fourth in the NCAA in total bases, and seventh in RBIs.
- Haley Ahr, who is hitting .430 overall and .473 in MAAC play, is eighth in the NCAA in toughest to strike out.

- In its last outing on Wednesday, Megan Giese pitched a no-hitter in Canisius' 4-1 win over Manhattan. Giese, who pitched her third career no-hitter, also hit a two-run homer in the victory.
- This season, Giese is 15-8 with two saves, a 2.02 ERA, and 158 strikeouts in 142 innings. Giese leads the MAAC in innings pitched, wins, and strikeouts.
- Christie McGee-Ross leads the Golden Griffins with a .347 batting average and .466 on-base percentage.
- Gianna Fazzolari is hitting .346 and ranks second in the MAAC in home runs (10) and third in RBIs (38).
