POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist water polo team is set for a MAAC Semifinal match against Iona University, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes look for their first championship appearance since their MAAC Championship title in 2021.

 

Red Foxes Season Review

• The Red Foxes finished the regular season at 20-15 overall and 9-2 in MAAC play.
  • The Red Foxes were named MAAC blue division champions.
• Ella Baumgarten earned First Team All-MAAC honors for a dominant 2024 season.
• Shinae Carrington earned Second Team All-MAAC for another outstanding season for the Red Foxes.

  

Scouting Iona

• The Gaels defeated La Salle in the MAAC Quarterfinal Match 12-9.
• The Red Foxes defeated Iona twice during the regular season.

• The Gaels finished the season with a 14-15 overall record and 6-5 record in conference.
• The Red Foxes hold a 37-16 overall record against Iona.
  • The Red Foxes currently hold a five-game winning streak against the Gaels.
