POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist softball team (33-15) will play its final two non-conference games of the regular season on Wednesday, when the Red Foxes travel to Lafayette (4-33) for a doubleheader.
 
First pitch of game one is set for 2 p.m.

• The Red Foxes are coming off a series win over MAAC opponent Canisius. They won the first game in eight innings, 7-3. They won game two 7-3 as well, but lost game three in a 6-4 nailbiter.
• Miah McDonald, who has homered in five consecutive games, was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday. McDonald set the program records for single-season home runs and RBIs last week.
• In game one of the Canisius series. Haley Ahr hit a game tying home run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Ahr is hitting .434 this season.
• Maddie Pleasants has homered four times in her last six games.
• Peyton Pusey and Alyssa Grupp are both hitting .391.

• The Leopards were swept in a three-game home series against nationally-ranked Boston University this past weekend.
• Megan Coyle leads the team with a .321 batting average and a .990 OPS. She also leads the team with four home runs and 15 RBIs.
