Softball Closes Out Regular Season at Fairfield

Red Foxes Stand at 15-5 in Conference Play, Seek #1 Seed in Final Series

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut – The Marist softball team (34-16 overall, 15-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) is set to finish the regular season against Fairfield (13-31, 9-12) with a three-game series in Connecticut. The Red Foxes and Stags will play a doubleheader on Friday, and a single game on Saturday. First pitch on both days is set for noon.

  • Marist will wrap up the #1 seed in the MAAC Championship with two wins at Fairfield OR …
  • One win combined with one loss by Niagara at Mount St. Mary's, OR …
  • Two Niagara losses at Mount St. Mary's AND one loss by Rider to Quinnipiac.
