BOSTON, Massachusetts – The Marist women's track & field team raced its fifth meet of the 2025 season, the Boston University Terrier Classic, on Friday. The event took place at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

There was no shortness of speed for the Marist women at the Boston University Terrier Classic with the team wracking up 10 PRs over the course of seven events.

Madison LaCreta (19th) started Marist's first event of the day, the 60 meter hurdles, with a PR of 9.36.

In the 60 meter dash Alexandra Samperi (9th) raced her way to not only a top ten finish but a new PR with a time of 8.04.

We saw two PRs from the 800 meter run with Grace Fletcher (72nd) coming in with a time of 2:18.71 and Julianna Mirabile (82nd) finishing in a time of 2:22.05.

The 200 meter dash went a step further producing three new PRs: Stephania Granados (55th) with a time of 26.45, Makenzy Nielsen (62nd) at 26.75, and Madison LaCreta (88th) with a time of 27.44.

Adele Alexander (87th) raced a time of 5:01.24 in the mile, earning her a 10 second PR and second in her heat. Julia Zydanowicz (123rd) also raced a PR in the mile run with a time of 5:14.01.

The 4x400 meter relay team (Kropo, Fletcher, Hawkins, Mirabile) earned their season best time coming in at 3:59.31, putting them just .27 of a second away from the school record.
