POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team fell to Bryant, 66-56, in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday evening at McCann Arena.
Freshman forward
Justine Henry recorded her first collegiate double-double with career highs of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Junior forward
Karly Fischer also scored a career-high 20 points on an efficient 7-for-11 from the field and 2-for-3 from downtown.

- Marist took an early 9-8 lead at the media timeout with 2:34 to go. Henry scored the first five points for the Red Foxes, while Tarul added four.
- Back-to-back 3-pointers from junior guard Malea Egan and junior forward Karly Fischer to close the quarter gave Marist a 15-8 lead.
- A 10-4 run to start the quarter, capped by a second 3-pointer from Fischer, increased the Marist lead to 25-12 at the 6:58 mark.
- The Red Foxes led 29-17 before going scoreless for the final 4:30. Bryant closed the quarter on a 8-0 run, making it 29-25 at halftime.
- The Bulldogs opened the second half with a 6-0 run to take a 31-29 lead and force a Marist timeout at the 5:26 mark.
- Henry converted an and-one to put the Red Foxes up three with 25 seconds left but the Bulldogs followed with a layup at the buzzer, making it 39-38 through three quarters.
- The teams continued to battle back-and-forth with neither able to create much separation. Bryant led 48-47 at the media timeout with 3:55 remaining in the game.
- Out of the timeout the Bulldogs went on a 5-0 run to go up 53-47, forcing a Marist timeout with 2:49 to go.
- Bryant held on to win it 66-56.
- Marist will host Holy Cross on Sunday, Nov. 16.
