POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Two Marist University football players were named Football Championship Subdivision All-Americans by Pro Football Network.
Nate Robinson Jr. earned Second Team as a safety, and
Connor Hulstein was named Third Team at tight end.
This is the third All-America honor Robinson has earned this postseason. He was named a Third Team All-American by Stats Perform, and he received Honorable Mention from The Associated Press. Robinson was also a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award this year, and he was a First Team All-Pioneer Football League selection. He totaled 15 passes defensed this year, with four interceptions and 11 break-ups. Robinson ranked among the FCS leaders all season in passes defensed, and the total of 15 was the most by a Red Fox in 23 years.
This is the second All-America honor Hulstein has garnered this postseason. This award follows a Second Team award from The Associated Press. He was among the most productive tight ends in the FCS all season long, and finished the regular season ranked first in receiving yards, second in touchdowns, and fourth in receptions at his position. He set the program's tight end receiving records for receiving yards (599), receiving touchdowns (seven), and yards per reception (14.3) this season.
