HEMPSTEAD, New York - Three different Red Foxes scored the first goals of their collegiate careers in their 18-5 loss to on Sunday, Feb. 16. The Red Foxes are still in search of their first win of the 2025 season.
Jesse Manger scored again, making it two consecutive games with goals for the Junior.

The Red Foxes were held off the score sheet for the entirety of the first quarter.
The Pride notched four of their own before the end of the frame.

The Pride would pick up right where they left off, scoring six consecutive goals before the Red Foxes would respond.
Caitlin McNaboe would score her first of the year at 3:54 mark to put the score at 10-1.
Just thirty seconds later,
Anne Shine, from a free position, would score the first goal of her collegiate career.

The Pride would then erase the ground the Red Foxes had made up by scoring twice before the end of the half.

Hofstra would again open the scoring in the third frame just three minutes in.
Jesse Manger would score her fourth goal of the season exactly two minutes later to put the score at 13-3.
The Pride would maintain its control of the game for the remainder of the frame, scoring two more goals before the end of the quarter, leaving things at 15-3.

Less than a minute into the fourth frame, the Pride would score again to put themselves up 16-3.
With 12:36 to go in the fourth
Juliana Palumbo would score the first goal of her career from a free position shot.
Just over two minutes later,
Makenna Graham would also score from the free position to notch her first of her career as well.
The Red foxes would be held off the score sheet for the remainder of the game, with the Pride netting two more, putting the final score at 18-5
