Staten Island, New York – Freshman Ramsey Heredia led the men's track & field team at its sixth meet of the 2025 season, the Fastrack National, on Friday. The event took place at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
Heredia placed first in the open long jump, jumping not only to a new PR, but a season-best record with a distance of 6.77m, just nearly missing the school record.
Noah Brown also had a huge day, landing at 4.20 in the pole vault.
Davis Haines (24th) set a new PR in the 5000 meter run with a time of 15:44.76.
Isaac Gross (35th) was the third freshman in a row to PR, following in Haines and Heredia's lead, earning a PR in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:58.99.
Christopher Lynch placed third in the 60 meter hurdles, beating his own season-best record time, for a new PR of 8.88.
Amari Mathis placed fifth in the finals for the 60-meter dash invitational, also beating his own season best record, with a new PR of 6.95.
In the open 60-meter dash William Carroll (71st) raced a PR with a time of 7.64.
Simeon Washington (24th) secured the sixth PR of the day for the Red Foxes in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.54.
Joseph Logan (15th) set a new season best record time in the 800-meter run with a PR of 1:56.90.
Joaquin Bell-Andrade (20th) followed in his lead, racing a PR with a time of 1:59.71.
Ramsey Heredia (46th) completed the day with another PR in the 200-meter dash, with a time of 23.13.
