BLOOMINGTON, Indiana- The Marist water polo team is set for its second weekend of matches, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes will compete against two top-15 opponents at the Midwest Invitational Tournament.
The Red Foxes enter the tournament at 3-2 overall and 2-0 in MAAC play.
- The Red Foxes finished the Bruno Classic with a 3-2 record.
- In their first match against 12th ranked Indiana, the Red Foxes fell 14-7.
- Kendell De Beer had a dominant debut in her sophomore season, scoring a hat trick for the Red Foxes.
- The Red Foxes dominated their second match of the season, defeating the Redlands 25-2.
- Ella Baumgarten tallied a hat trick in the win for the Red Foxes.
- The Red Foxes had 12 different goal scorers in the win.
- In the third match of the Bruno Classic, the Red Foxes earned their first MAAC win of the season against Villanova, 16-11.
- In the fourth match of the Bruno Classic, the Red Foxes fell to 19th, ranked Pacific 15-10.
- Rachel Dean recorded her first hat trick of the season in the match.
- The Red Foxes finished the Bruno Classic with another MAAC win, this time against La Salle, 10-6.
- The host team, the Indiana Hoosiers, enter the match at 9-0 overall on the 2025 season.
- The Hoosiers went 5-0 at the Bruno Classic, defeating the Red Foxes 14-7.
- The Hoosiers also defeated MAAC opponent Wagner 16-11 in the Classic.
- Stanford enters the Invite at 4-0 overall on the 2025 season.
- Stanford, in the Polopalooza, defeated four ranked opponents including two top-10 opponents.
