LEXINGTON, Virginia- The Marist water polo team is set for a weekend of MAAC matches, beginning March 15. The Red Foxes continue MAAC play with three matches against Wagner, LIU, and La Salle.
The Red Foxes enter the matches at 10-7 overall and begin official MAAC play with the showcase.
- The Red Foxes split the weekend against Harvard and Brown, both ranked opponents.
- Game One Vs. #11 Harvard: 13-9, loss
- Game Two Vs. #20 Brown: 12-10, win
- Inés Sánchez won MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for outstanding performances in net for the Red Foxes.
- Sanchez collected 28 saves in two matches for the Red Foxes.
- Paige Naegle won MAAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for a dominant weekend against two ranked opponents.
- Naegle had four assists for the Red Foxes in their win against 20th ranked Brown, along with a hat trick. Naegle also tallied two assist in the Red Foxes match against Harvard.
- Wagner enters the match ranked 19th overall in the ACWPC rankings.
- Wagner holds an 8-6 overall record on the 2025 season.
- At the Harvard Invitational, Wagner went 2-2 overall.
