LA MIRADA, California- The Marist water polo team is set for two midweek matches, beginning March 18. The Red Foxes play against Biola University and Azusa Pacific University.

The Red Foxes enter the matches at 12-8 overall and 2-1 in MAAC play.
 

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes went 2-1 to begin official MAAC play at the VMI-MAAC Classic.
  • Match one vs #19 Wagner: 10-7, loss
  • Match two vs LIU: 13-12, win
  • Match three vs La Salle: 12-11 win
• Ella Baumgarten, Victoria Padilla, Lela McCarroll, and Kendell De Beer led the Red Foxes with two goals apiece in a 13-12 thrilling win over LIU.
• Rachel Dean, Ella Baumgarten, Kendell De Beer and Victoria Padilla led the Red Foxes with two goals apiece in their 12-11 win against La Salle.

 

Scouting Biola

• The match is slated for March 18 with first swim at 10:30 p.m.
• The Eagles enter the match at 4-13 overall on the 2025 season.
• The Eagles have played 10 matches against teams nationally ranked.
• In their last tournament appearance, the Eagles dropped all four matches at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.
  • Match one vs #1 USC: 30-5, loss
  • Match two vs #10 Arizona State: 16-9, loss
  • Match three vs #18 UC Santa Barbara: 19-12, loss
  • Match four vs Pomona-Pitzer: 14-8, loss
• This will be the first match between the Red Foxes and Eagles.

  

Scouting Azusa Pacific

• The Cougars enter the match at 12-9 overall on the 2025 season.
• At the Convergence Tournament, the Cougars went 3-1.
  • Match one vs LIU: 8-7, win
  • Match two vs McKendree: 13-10, win
  • Match three vs #5 Michigan: 12-6, loss
  • Match four vs La Verne: 20-9, win
• The Red Foxes hold a 3-0 overall record against the Cougars. In their last match, the Red Foxes defeated the Cougars 14-8 in 2022.
