POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Winners of 10 straight, the Marist University softball team returns to action this weekend, when the Red Foxes open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play with a three-game series at Saint Peter's.

Last Time Out

• Marist last played on Friday, March 14, when the Red Foxes swept a doubleheader at Lafayette.
• The Red Foxes prevailed by scores of 11-2 and 11-1.
  • Game One: Marist pounded out 19 hits, led by Haley Ahr going 4-for-4 and Miah McDonald driving in five and homering twice.
  • Game Two: Marist had 13 hits, led by Ahr with three. Maddie Pleasants struck out 10 in four innings in the circle, and homered while driving in three. Pleasants homered in both games of the doubleheader.

• Marist swept a three-game series in Jersey City.
• The Red Foxes prevailed by scores of 8-0 (5 innings), 12-8, and 14-4 (6 innings).
• Maddie Pleasants homered in all three games of the series.
