EMMITSBURG, Maryland- The Marist water polo team is set for two MAAC matches, Saturday morning. The Red Foxes look to continue their seven-match winning streak against Mount St. Mary's and Iona.

The Red Foxes enter the weekend with a 17-8 overall record and a 2-1 MAAC record.

• The Red Foxes swept their weekend at the Wolverine Invitational with a 3-0 record.

• Inés Sánchez won MAAC Defensive Player of the Week for the Red Foxes.
  • Sánchez led the Red Foxes in net to a perfect 3-0 weekend at the Wolverine Invitational. Sánchez tallied 25 total saves in the three wins for the Red Foxes.
  • In the Red Foxes win against Pomona-Pitzer, Sánchez recorded nine saves in the win. Sánchez also recorded three steals in the Red Foxes three wins.
• Viktoria Kiss won MAAC Rookie of the Week, her first-career weekly award.
  • Kiss had a breakout weekend for the Red Foxes in their 3-0 weekend at the Wolverine Invitational. Kiss tallied a hat trick (three goals) in the Red Foxes win against Salem.
  •  Kiss recorded five total goals on the weekend and added three assists in the perfect weekend.

  

Scouting Mount St. Mary's

• The Mount enter the match at 14-8 overall on the 2025 season and 3-2 in MAAC play.
• In their last weekend, the Mount went 1-1 against MAAC opponents.
