POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team (24-5) returns to action on Sunday, when the Red Foxes play a doubleheader at Quinnipiac (8-16).
 
These two games will be non-conference, with first pitch of game one set for 1 p.m. Both games will be carried on ESPN+.
 

Last Time Out

• Marist swept a three-game series at Saint Peter's, prevailing by scores of 9-0 (five innings), 15-1 (five innings), and 3-0.
  • Game One: Kiley Myers tossed a three-hit shutout, and Samantha Rogers' grand slam keyed a six-run fifth.
  • Game Two: Maddie Pleasants homered twice and drove in six – including a fifth-inning grand slam – and struck out six in four innings in the circle.
  • Game Three: Anna Sidlowski and Kiley Myers teamed up for a six-hit shutout.

 

vs. Quinnipiac

• Marist swept a three-game series at home to open conference play in 2024.
• The Red Foxes prevailed by scores of 7-1, 2-0, and 14-0 (five innings).
• Marist has won six in a row against Quinnipiac.
• This is Marist's first trip to Quinnipiac since 2022.
• The Bobcats are coming off a sweep of a MAAC doubleheader against Rider on Saturday, prevailing by scores of 4-1 and 6-4. Quinnipiac has won three straight.
