LAWRENCE, NJ – Multiple members of the Marist women's track & field team set new PRs at the Rider 5-Way Invite, on Saturday. The event took place at the Michael P. Brady Track Complex in Lawrence, New Jersey.

The 100-meter hurdles saw two new PRs with Madison LaCreta (5th) coming in with a time of 15.49 and Talia Augosto (16th) at 18.44. 

Breelyn McNamara ran a PR of 59.71 in the 400-meter dash, earning her second place. Nina Florio (6th) also PR'd with a time of 1:02.00

The Red Foxes saw back to back PRs in the 100-meter dash with Makenzy Nielsen (14th) finishing in 12.78 and Alyssa Dapont (15th) at 12.86.

The Red two new PRs in the 200-meter dash, as Alyssa Dapont (10th) finished with a time of 26.51 and Nina Florio (17th) clinched her PR at 27.42.

Emily Litke finished first in the 3000-meter run with a PR of 10:36.79. Rachel Turek (18th) followed with her own PR of 11:41.56.

In her first time throwing discus at the collegiate level, freshman Kelly Ballen wasted no time jumping into action. Ballen set a new discus school record with her distance of 29.40 meters.

Alexandra Samperi (4th) set a new long jump PR of 5.48 meters.
