POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team will head north to Siena for a three-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference series this weekend.
 

Series

• The opening day of the series has been moved from Saturday to Friday. It will be a doubleheader, with the first pitch of game one set for 1 p.m.
• Sunday remains set as the series finale, with a single game at noon.

 

Records

• Marist is 30-5 overall and 7-0 in the MAAC.
  • The Red Foxes have won 19 straight games, which is the nation's longest active winning streak, and the longest winning streak in program history.
  • Marist has swept series against Saint Peter's (three games), Canisius (two games), and Fairfield (two games).
• Siena is 22-14 overall and 6-3 in the MAAC.
  • The Saints have won seven straight.
  • In MAAC play, Siena has gone 1-1 against Quinnipiac, 1-2 against Iona, 2-0 against Sacred Heart, and 2-0 against Merrimack. The Saints have won five straight conference games.

 

Last Time Out

• Marist swept a doubleheader at Fairfield last Friday.
• In game one, back-to-back homers by Maddie Pleasants and Sienna Kunze keyed a three-run fifth in the Red Foxes' 8-6 win. Kiley Myers improved to 15-0 as she allowed just one earned run over 6.1 innings.
• In game two, Pleasants struck out a career-high 14 while tossing a four-hit shutout, and Ronni Howard went 3-for-3 in Marist's 6-0 victory.
